Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close -
Based on the novel, set in 2003, which focuses on a 10-year-old boy who finds a key in a vase that belonged to his father, who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The boy undergoes a search to find the lock-box that goes with it.
He encounters several people along the way who are dealing with their own grief in connection with the attacks.
