Diva -
The first film to be labeled “cinema du look” it explodes onto the screen with bright colors and outlandish sets. The characters are perpetually looking for answers, suffering from their own limited perspectives, while the audience is free to enjoy the big picture.

Okay, so Diva is a genuine, acknowledged cult film which, as reviews of the re-release would suggest, still (mostly) stands up upon current viewing. So why is it still out of print as a DVD? It's time to release a new DVD edition, with retrospectives, etc. Are you listening, Criterion?
