Terrible. The picture painted of humans putting a clearly advanced alien visitor into shanty town is ludicrous. Much time is wasted (like the first half of the film) on character development via documentary style camera action. Also it begs the question is this a comedy? We understand alien communications... why is there no negotiation? A huge ship capable of total earth domination is stranded on earth. This would take enourmous resources to build etc. Why in hell would we treat these aliens as anything other than VERY important diplomats as surely a search party from the prawn homeworld would be highly possible? I call NONSENSE on the whole film. Not believeable. Not reasonable. What was the message of this film? Even that was not clear. Bother...
