Dangerous Parking -

An adaptation of Stuart Browne's novel "Dangerous Parking."
The novel follows Noah Arkwright who has been burning the candle at both ends. A filmmaker and now a dry alcoholic, he's lived life to the full with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll as his relentless backdrop but now the stakes are even higher. In his struggle to survive, Noah's cancer forces him to evaluate his chequered past life, and as a picture builds of a brave and incredibly foolish man.

Just a comment on Stuart Browne and what a terrific guy he was. In 1987 I wanted to get into NYU. I took the train down from CT, found the dramatic writing department at NYU, and then I was taken to Stuart's office and we met. My grades at UCONN weren't going to get the job done, but Stuart agreed to work with me at no cost to see what I could do. At the end of our work together he wrote a letter of recommendation to the school. Unfortunately my grades at UCONN weren't going to get the job done. I spoke with Stuart one more time in 1997-- to get ideas for a vacation I was taking to England. And only today I read about Stuart's passing.
What a tremendous, tremendous guy he was: and by those who knew him best, he must be very much missed. I can't wait to see the film.
