Movies - Caramel
Nadine Labaki’s simmering soap opera for the silver screen features five women who are as different as night and day. Or are they? Like the TV blockbuster “Laverne and Shirley” they are different but at the same time they are the same. They all share the love, joy, defeat and sorrow of human being everywhere. Also, they are all very attractive and hip. And that goes for the men, too.

I enjoyed every moment of the movie. The movie is simple, funny, and talks about three women who work in a hair salon. they are poor, and hard workers. They share their love problems in a funny way. The setting and the music were fabulous. I felt as if I was sitting with them and laughing at their jokes and feeling their pain. I would certainly give it thumb up. It is a well done job.
