Betsy and the Emperor -
Based on the children's novel by Staton Rabin.
The story is set in 1815 follows the adventures of fourteen-year-old English girl Betsy Balcombe. Betsy and her family live on the isolated Island of St. Helena and have a very special house guest.
Napoleon Bonaparte has lost everything after being defeated in battle. Condemned to live out his life on the rat infested island, he befriends Betsy. The pair's unlikely friendship sets them on a path that could endanger their lives and shake empires.
