'Beowulf' is the greatest science fiction piece in early British literature (my opinion). I have always wanted a great film-adaptation to be made. However, as much as I love Christopher Lambert, that version was not great.
The current adaptation, with Crispin Glover as Grendel (my favorite character), looks amazing; if the current trailer is at all indicative of what is to come.
