Follows the life of Robert Ripley, the explorer and newspaper writer who created "Ripley's Believe It or Not."
The story picks up Ripley at a time when he has gained celebrity status via a "Believe It or Not" column that chronicled his search for the greatest oddities on the planet.
Through his work he learns to appreciate his strange human discoveries as more than mere items to be catalogued.
