Based on a true story that revolves around the death of investigative reporter Don Bolles.
Bolles worked for the Arizona Republic and died in a 1976 car bomb explosion while he was investigating organized crime in state government. He co-founded the Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) – whose members completed his work after his death.
