Akira -
Based on the landmark 1988 animated film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo from his own graphic novel.
The film will be set in New Manhattan, a city that was rebuilt after being destroyed 31 years earlier. The leader of a motorcycle gang attempts to save his friend, discovered with dangerous psychokinetic abilities, from government medical experiments.
