Matthew Goode joins Amy Adams on ‘Leap Year’

Spyglass has signed Matthew Goode to join Amy Adams on the romantic comedy “Leap Year” for director Anand Tucker.

Variety reports the film is from a screenplay by Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan with shooting scheduled to start in March in Ireland.

In the film, Adams will handle the role of a woman traveling to Dublin to purpose to her boyfriend on Leap Day. Weather forces her to change her travel plans and ask an Irish innkeeper (Goode) to help her on a cross-country trip through Ireland.

Goode is set to hit the big screen in Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated “Watchmen” and just finished work on “A Single Man” with director Tom Ford.
