Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson Join Lady Gaga For FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel

TV Casting Notes: On Sunday, March 15, 2015, The Paley Center for Media celebrated the closing night of PALEYFEST 2015 LA, honoring FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show at The Dolby Theatre. Actors Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson, who strongly resemble each other, are the new casting reveals for FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel,” joining the previously announced Lady Gaga in the graphic anthology series.

The cast of “AHS” revealed the news at the Paleyfest panel. The plot details of their characters are being kept under wraps, with Bomer playing one of the leads.

Bomer also had a role in “AHS:Freak Show.” His collaborations with Murphy include roles on “The New Normal” and “Glee,” where Bomer played Darren Criss’ character’s older brother. Bomer, a native of a Houston suburb, also snagged a Golden Globe for his role on HBO’s “Normal Heart.”

Jackson has also worked with Murphy, guest starring on “Glee.””

“American Horror Story: Hotel” will begin production on the 13-episode season in the late summer and is set to premiere in the Halloween month of October.
