Spirits of the Season 2013 will bring you the hottest new recipes from the coolest restaurants and bars all across the globe!Today we feature Tin Fish Clematis in West Palm Beach, Florida, a part of a series of quick-service establishments that first started up in San Diego.
Founder Joseph Melluso started the first Tin Fish in an 150-year-old tinsmith shop where the original property owner once sold fish in front of. Since then Joseph licensed the concept to several other restaurants throughout the country, including Tin Fish Clematis.
This Tin Fish found on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida focuses on fresh and local ingredients. The eatery is well known for their killer shrimp platters and fish tacos (every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and Twisted Trivia night) but they also have great healthy plates to go along with their lightly breaded fried items. They have a great happy hour from 4 to 8 every day with half priced drinks and a brand new tapas-style menu.
Their Halloween cocktails will be available from October 23rd until November 3rd. For those of us not able to get there, the restaurant shared their secret recipes.
Tin Fish's bartender Kelsey Simon dragged out her special cauldron working on her Halloween recipes. She’s cooking up a Witches Brew Sangria, a “Mike Wazowski” a rum drink named because of its resemblance to the Monsters Inc. character (down to its Ping Pong ‘eyeball’), a Drunken’ Pumpkin Pie, made with Pumpkin Pie vodka, and a an Apple Cider Margarita.
