East coast travelers and those visiting New Jersey need to make a stop at Booskerdoo Coffee, a Jersey Shore-based micro-roaster coffee shop that has received huge notice for its velvet-y smooth but hearty classic diner coffee that has no trace of bitterness.
Booskerdoo is located in Monmouth Beach, NJ, a town that was hit very hard by Superstorm Hurricane Sandy. Once most of the serious damage was fixed and the power came back, they were able to resume operations. However their online orders have gone through the roof for good reason: The coffee is all that!

Booskerdoo coffee and online shop offers over 10 different flavors of coffee from around the world, most of which are organic and fair-trade. One of the most popular is the “Jersey Diner” coffee, which was created to emulate the classic taste of the brew you would get at a classic Jersey diner.
Did you know that New Jersey has more diners than any state in the USA?
Satisfying good coffee is their common denominator. The term “New Jersey Diner” means different things, as some serve alcohol...but they aren’t bars. All serve coffee to everyone who walks in, but they aren’t coffee shops. The menu items are high quality fare at low prices. In short, a foodie's paradise with great coffee that doesn't break the bank.

New Jersey Diner coffee is served up by Booskerdoo Coffee in their special blend called "Jersey Diner," where a light roasted Colombia Excelso is blended with a medium roasted Brazil Cerrado for added richness. The result: a classic cup of coffee...Best described as rich and nutty, velvet and with a noticeable depth.
For fans of the darkest roasts, they use a blend of SHB Fair Trade Organic Honduras beans and roast them until the streets are filled with the perfume of roasting coffee. This is a smoky cup of coffee with a buttery richness yet lots of punch. This is a cult favorite according to the owner, James Caverly.

Booskerdoo also offers a clever coffee of the month club for those who want super fresh coffee delivered right to their doors.
In case you have been "Keurig-ing" and have used a single-cup brewer that you forget how to brew coffee in a real drip coffee machine, check out this video for a quick tutorial from Booskerdoo:
