Actually, Jews don't think about Jesus at all - he has no place in Judaism. Wherever did you get the idea that they think of him as 'an illegitimate child'?
try searching flavius josephus (teacher of righteousness of israelis)i'm sure you'll find it there.he talks about jesus too.he was historian also.
secondly you dont have to go far this is exactly what that i think naked archeologist is trying to show.by saying that Jesus had child and a wife.probably a secret affair or something like that.
Both Cameron and the Greek Orthodox Church are hypocrites that are full of s**t. Enough with this Jesus crap already.
Syed:
'unluckily the Christianity has no evidence either that Jesus was crucified.'
If you are not going to believe the Bible (which is still used a valid historical document by historians), then how about looking into Jewish and/or Roman sources?
No1Uknow:
'Greek Orthodox Church are hypocrites'
Were you part of the Greek Orthodoxy to make this blanket statement?
Christianity is the Truth. It pisses everyone off. Why? No one likes to hear the truth.
now they want to talk about 'evidence'. typical christian hypocrisy.
jesus does exist! he is alive and well along with Elvis and the aliens who crashed at roswell, they are all in area 51 laughing at the world arguing about their collective existences, or lack thereof.
The 'resurrection' was a marketing tool used to capture the attention of the Romans for a new religion. Nothing original there at all, it was simply a rehash of previous religions. In that day and time 'supernatural' won attention. (Whoa, things haven't changed much have they?) If they went around and said Jesus was this guy, a carpenter and rabbi, who went around teaching people that they need to get back to old school. Stop being hypocrites, love thy neighbor, take care of each other. How much attention would that garner?
But if you say, 'they buried him in a tomb and his body disappeared and he showed back up to a few people and said I'll be back and if you were good and followed me I'll take you with me and the rest can fight it out'. Now there's something to get worked up about.
However this 'documentary' leaves much to be desired and is as much based on speculation as the bible is a fairy tale.
I wonder why there is so much disagreement and hatred concerning the statement of the Orthodox Church. The movie 'The Lost Tomb of Jesus Christ' has no facts or real evidence. The Bible on the other hand has been scrutinized numerous times and yet the message is loud and clear. Jesus Christ was on earth, yes he was crucified and yes he resurrected. Not even the doors of hell will prevail over the Church of Christ. May God be merciful to your ignorance and blasphemy.

TRUE IT MAY SEEM, the film maker has no evidence, but unluckily the Christianity has no evidence either that Jesus was crucified. Actually the Jewish peole still think that Jesus was an illegitimate child.
