The Ultimate Summer Music Festival Shoe: Koolaburra’s Venus II Sandal

Koolaburra’s Venus II Sandal does not disappoint when it comes to fringe. The soft leather sandal has a suede fringe ankle strap, and a zipper in the back for easy on and off. This gladiator-esque sandal is perfect for boho summer music festivals and Lillith Fairs.

Fringe has made an insane comeback in the past few years. Bikinis, purses, dresses—you name it, it’s been fringed. Fringe says “I’m casual and effortless, but I have great style.”

My personal favorite place for fringe is on your feet. I love booties that are laced in fringe. I love that when I walk they swish back and forth, drawing attention to my feet and letting everyone know I’m making any entrance. I feel girly and bohemian sexy.

Imagine walking around the desert or the camp grounds with you friends, decked out in your beaded American flag crop top, frayed denim skull-stamped shorts and your new Koolaburra Venus II sandals in chestnut. All you need is to clip a few feathers in your hair to finish the look.

And even though Coachella is a distant memory of indie bands and bad drunken decisions this year there is still Bumbershoot and Outside Lands to look forward to; plus, I bet you are already planning your next Coachella outfit, the key is that you have to look like you don't care about being chic, that is the ultimate in chic-ness!

Disclaimer: I’m 5’4” and have short legs. I typically prefer shoes that will lengthen my legs and give me a little extra height (my sister is 5’10”—I’m trying to keep up). While these shoes are super cute and comfortable, I didn’t have my usual desired look in them. However, short girls like Nina Dobrev have rocked them with ease, so don’t let that be a deterrent.

These Koolaburras cost $139, which isn’t much compared to how much you spent on your Weekend One Festival Pass.
