Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger's daughter didn't need his help with her fashion line.
The legendary designer is thrilled with his offspring Ally's new line NAHM - which she worked on with design partner Nary Manivong - and says it looked better than it had in previews when the collection was presented at New York Fashion Week this week.
He said: 'I love it. I saw some of the samples, but now seeing them on the models, they look great.
'[Did I help?]I put my three cents in and they give me a couple of pennies back. They know exactly what they're doing. They have a very specific point of view.'
Ally said the collection was inspired by vintage prints and 'strong, powerful women'.
She added to People 'We're growing our customer up a bit, but she's also this very effortless, intellectual woman.'
The designer sourced some of the floral and Egyptian-influenced fabrics from her own vintage collection.
She said: 'They're recoloured and resized.'
