Donning chipped blue fingernails, sun-damaged skin and blond hair extensions, Lohan made a splash at the spring-summer 2010 ready-to-wear Ungaro show Sunday as paparazzi mobbed the troubled actress.
Lohan is the impresario of ripped-up leggings in a line called 6126, and some self-tanners that the actress allegedly uses.
Ungaro was once considered a haute couture powerhouse in the eighties and nineties. The new alliance with Lohan is seen by some industry observers as an attempt to lure the downmarket, younger "trend" consumer that might shop at Hot Topic or H&M.
ABC News reported that "mayhem broke out" after the Ungaro show when hundreds of journalists went backstage for comments from Lohan and Ungaro executives.
"I really appreciate everything that goes into, like, any article of clothing. I think it's fantastic and I think it's so expressive in so many ways," Lohan told reporters, according to ABC.
Lebanese-born businessman, Ungaro CEO and President Mounir Moufarrige, told reporters he "was pleased with what he saw on the catwalk."
"I'm happy and have a really positive impression," said Moufarrige.
