Powder better than liquid foundation in summer heat

Munich - In the summer it's better to use powder foundation makeup instead of the liquid type.
Mineral powder covers especially well, said makeup artist Boris Entrup of Munich. A moisturizer with UV protection is suitable as a base. The best way to apply the loose or pressed powder is with a brush. It can quickly become too heavy using a small sponge.
'In the summer a discreet glow on the skin is actually very sexy,' said Entrup. To ensure the skin isn't too shiny, Entrup recommends occasionally using blotting towels, which freshen the skin and take away shine. They also contain antibacterial powder.
