It’s Trojan Time! Confessions of a Trojan time piece lover

The water resistant watch has a silicon strap, an easy to read face and has a really cool zippered case that can be recycled to hold other important things in a college student’s life…ahem.
Being a USC Trojan means that you are part of a family, and family means for life… through thick and thin we have each other’s backs.
You don’t have to actually go to USC (University of Southern California) to be part of the Trojan family; some people are just born bleeding Cardinal and Gold.
Personally, I did go to SC, partied like a freak, went to a few classes, and loved every second of it. I am a Trojan! I am proud to cheer for my team with or without "the visor"!
I hate the NCAA, I hire people with USC on their resumes, and I admit, I'm more attracted to men in Cardinal and Gold rather than the cross-towners (UCLA) in their baby blue and yellow. I guess you can say I am a practitioner of Trojanism!
That’s why I jumped at the chance to review a brand new watch the was designed by fellow USC alum and former Trojan football player, Collin Ashton. Don’t you love a guy with two first names… or two last names, I can’t quite figure that one out.
The Ash Wear Watches evolved from a basic need to supply affordable “team watches” to the USC students. The myth is that this college is chock full of stinking rich trust fund babies who can whip out their platinum American Express cards to pay for anything they want to buy.
But the reality is that most of the student body is on grants, loans and scholarships and can barely afford the high rents in Los Angeles let alone a nifty watch with a heady price tag!
That’s why I love the Ash Wear time pieces. The Conquest Collection (am I the only one who can hear the band playing in the distance whenever I read the world “conquest”?) comes in the team colors of cardinal, gold, black and white with the 02, 03, 04 highlighted on the face, the years that Ashton played on the team.
Even though the watch face is on the large side, I would consider it totally unisex as there are no strong and fast rules about watch size anymore.
