Wednesday Monsters and Critics took a side trip to THE brow and makeup authority, Anastasia Beverly Hills\' headquarters, where we were greeted by Anastasia Soare, the woman who is responsible for Hollywood A-list\'s brows and those in the know.
The look for the moment and into fall 2012 is the carved eye, the lined to perfection vamp look that can go clean and classic to uber sexy Sophia Loren.

Big 1960's voluminous bouffants and bumped up crowns are the story from the runway (we are ignoring the oily wet hair look, shudders), and that big hair look is perfectly complemented by the cat eye or lined eye that is precise and defined.
During Fashion Week, the '60s and '70s vibes were dominant on the fashion runway scene in New York and Los Angeles with lots of sensual cat-eyes and pretty fully shaped and groomed brows.

As obsessed as we are with all things Fashion Week, the favorite beauty looks of the Fall 2012 season include the bigger hair and strong eye combinations, with some of the designers, like Anna Sui, using mod colors like cobalt blue to create her model's cat-eyes.
Most people cannot carry off such extreme makeup looks, but smoky, sultry nude eyes defined at the lashline with a precise application of a dark shadow always looks stunning if you know what you are doing.

Anastasia eyeshadows have a fabulous smoothness and dense pigmentation, so that you never look dry on the lids. I am addicted to her classic #2 EyeShadow Palette that has the wildcard mossy green shimmer I use sometimes as a liner (in a wet application) for fun.
