Wrecking your skin with real sunlight is so 1970s. Now you have excellent products that fudge the look and keep the integrity of your skin firm and smooth.
You don't have to look like the infamous Tan Mom to be a gorgeous glowing mamacita these days.
Wrecking your skin with real sunlight is so 1970s. Now you have excellent products that fudge the look and keep the integrity of your skin firm and smooth.

Foundations keep skin young, but if you hate the weight in the hot months, but love the coverage, Garnier BB Creams are must-have items for this summer.
BB Creams lay between tinted moisturizer and foundation, as Garnier’s BB cream is an affordable dewy, even base. You can add concealer for blemishes and under-eye circles to help even coverage further, as it obliterates redness, especially around the nose.
BB Creams must be applied to dry skin, so make sure your serum and sunscreens have settled in. The value is off the hook. A little bit goes a very long way.
Caveat: Garnier's products have that signature smell. If you are sensitive, it can be an issue. But luckily it fades quickly. You have two color options. I used the Light/Medium version which worked best for me, although if you are super pale, it may be too dark.

Celebrity secret weapon for the J-Lo glow comes courtesy of Gleam Body Radiance, a wonder potion that is a body makeup which dries down and lasts. Do not confuse this with shimmer body lotion, this actually covers spider veins, stretch marks, blemishes and evens mottled spray tans that are fading.
Transfer-resistant and in four distinct shades that cover the alabaster lovelies to the Nubian queens, it can be blended into foundation for that ethereal "lit from within" look Jennifer Lopez has down cold.
Invented by Emmy winning-makeup artist Melanie Mills, it was recently featured on the Dr. Oz show as a great way to look sunkissed and perfect without the Melanoma threat.
We love Rose Gold, Melanie's personal favorite.

Brilliance comes courtesy of the NYX Bronzer collection for 2012, one of the hottest and most affordable lines of cosmetics out there.

The company introduced an array of face and body Bronzers. Use on arms, legs and the décolletage to create glistening color any time of year. The portable bronzer compacts comes with a sponge applicator for ease of application, in five shades for all.
The Illumination Face & Body Bronzers deliver a subtle glow in three shades. Our favorites include the Tango with Bronzing Powder, a sexy mosaic bronzer in five shades for the perfect golden glow on the face and body, for every skintone.

To complement, the Tango Bronzing Sticks are a creamy swivel of shimmer to go anywhere. Sculpts, highlights and warms the skintone. Stunning four shades to chose from and easy to pack.

Best in show are the NYX Matte Bronzers. My new favorite blusher is Light Matte Bronzer, a perfect shade to liberally shade the face and even finish eye makeup. Think real tan and not orange or frosty froth. Achieve a natural and healthy complexion using any of the powder bronzers available in five shades.
