The company is run by Kevin Stecko, the founder of 80sTees.com who began his venture in his own home, even employing some help from family members who fulfilled orders in the early days.
The Hot Holiday Gift series is Monsters and Critics' 2011 picks for the best in Made in America gifts for everyone. From beauty, food, wine and spirits, DVDs to fashion, we have found the best in each category for you to consider gifting a loved one this holiday season.
One of M&C's favorite small American businesses that does not outsource a single thing is 80sTees.com, an online retailer that sells officially licensed tees and other merchandise from all sorts of iconic TV and films from the 80's and more.

The company is run by Kevin Stecko, the founder of 80sTees.com who began his venture in his own home, even employing some help from family members who fulfilled orders in the early days.
Kevin wrangled a sweet deal with Hasbro to churn out cool T-shirts featuring the Transformers, GI Joe, Tonka, Monopoly, My Little Pony, and then later signed with Paramount for classic films like "Anchorman," Old School," "Footloose," "The Warriors," and "Bad News Bears" plus FX cult hit television shows like "Sons of Anarchy" and "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."

Now Stecko and the 80sTee genuis design crew have turned out the limited edition McDonald's McRib shirt which features the restaurant chain's boneless rib sandwich, The McRib. The sandwich is like egg nog, green beer and candy corn, marking a fleeting moment in time as the elusive sandwich is here only until November 14.
