Fall Fashion 2011: Royal Elastics Vegan-dyed shoes and sleek silhouettes one to look for

This is the latest for their de-constructed chukka boot concept replete with the classic elastic lacing system and plastic toggle inspired by triathlon runners. The ultra-light weight bottom unit has a comfortable footbed for weight savings and comfort.

Fall Fashion 2011 statements are filed with eclectic touches, texturally different fabrics and finishes, and combinations of different period classics with modern embellishments.

One American company, with Australian roots, Royal Elastics (www.royalelastics.com) , has upped the cool quotient with their new line of shoes for men, women and children.

Two Australian teens founded Royal Elastics back in 1996, by creating a brand concept that swapped elastics for laces to secure the shoes. 

Millions of lazy, lace haters responded and put the shoe company on the map. The company found a home in high end shops from London to Adelaide and on the feet of people attracted to the ease of being able to slip-in and out of their shoes.

Royal Elastics had a quirky and easy-going sense of humor and design ethos. Their entire line is wearable, fun and affordable.

Royal Elastics strengthened its global distribution in 2002, and they still support emerging artists and musicians by sponsoring events and providing opportunities for under-represented creative people to get together. 

The company is now ensconced in downtown Los Angeles and cranks out the sharpest casual shoes for the entire family.

Buy American, buy good looking casual shoes. Reasonable, durable and fashion-forward.
