Set visits a-plenty for me this last month, as all the new shows are readying for fall premieres. I saw many fashion trends and cool items that the crew covets, and the stars glom on to as well. One of them was a bitching new men's show made in the U.S.A. by RYZ.

The RYZ HG-3 shoe I kept seeing on sets here in Southern California is made by an American who was the former president of Adidas USA and Japan.

The smooth top constructed of full-grain leather has a zipper-closure placed off the side. Inside the shoe has a dense, shock absorbing foot bed. The low-rise sidewall and complex tread pattern surface makes this high-rise slip on sneaker the shoe to own right now.

Crews on TV shows work long days on their feet and when a shoe catches fire like this one, soon the entire production is seen wearing them.  The RYZ HG-3 is the latest that is both comfortable for shorts and jeans and dressy enough to wear with nice slacks for a night out.

RYZ is a design-driven men's footwear brand created by Rob Langstaff. Founded at the close of 2008, RYZ mined the talents of undiscovered designers and artists to develop some of the most unique and innovative shoes on the market.

Rob connected with with future Creative Director and renown artist and designer Todd Alan Breland.   By late 2009, the two brought RYZ to market to compete with traditional footwear. By combining the refined sensibility of dress shoes with the comfort and aesthetics of athletic footwear, RYZ is like the 'Beamer' of footwear: It works beautifully and looks sharp while doing so.

RYZ H-G3 is made of premium full-grain leather and sports a debossed leather logo. The shoe has a graphic pattern lining/outsole with a zip-closure, a metal sidewall logo and zipper pull. The Pattern artwork is by Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic.

Sexy shoe for hip dads too, Father's Day is this Sunday June 19.
