After graduating from UCLA, this 23-year-old designer took a big risk and went against the norm after her mother told her to figure out what to do with her life. She has done just so in a big splashy way. Jac began her company two years ago with one bracelet that simply said: "RUTHLESS."
Her first piece, that RUTHLESS bracelet, was inspired from a Something Corporate song. Jac began small, making direct sales through social media, PayPal and email.
Now her line includes T-shirts, hoodies, rings, necklaces and more.
Once a self-described 'Emo kid," Jac loves music and her designs reflect the passion she feels when listening to her favorite bands.

Jac has partnered on bracelet collaborations with indie bands All Time Low, Cobra Starship, The Summer Set, The Academy Is... as well as Mandy Jiroux, and Chelsea Staub, to name a few. She finished up the year by landing her line to be distributed through Bloomingdale's around the country.
Vanek has even rolled out an "I PARTIED WITH CHARLIE SHEEN" luxury t-shirt for sale here: http://bit.ly/ibGowq.
Jac also works closely with many charities to promote and raise awareness of their causes. These charities include Haiti Relief, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, PETA, the NOH8 Campaign, Invisible Children, and JustTell.
