The idea of the FlipOut™ sandal is pure genius, taking a casual show and extending life to it with unique, customizable clip-on embellishments to completely change up the look.

The sandal comes in a variety of styles, from the casual Brazilian flip-flop to a more structured Jelly sandal.

The company has a dazzling collection of three-dimensional crystal ornaments, all of which are interchangeable for a whole new style with the same shoe. There are six stunning designs including the Rare White Orchid, Rare Amber Orchid, Dazzling White Daisy, Dazzling Pink Daisy, Fluttering Butterfly and Happy Heart.

The base colors of the flip flops range from black to metallic copper, metallic silver and even white, which has sparked a huge business for Bridal parties that are island or seaside bound.

These sandals are a perfect bridesmaid and guest gifts for any traditional wedding. At the reception, they can be given to all the women so they can dance the night away in style, comfortably. Then the FlipOut Sandals become a wearable favor to take away.  The popularity of these sandals for that purpose has gone through the roof, according to the company founders Cheryl Hamersmith-Cooper and Tracey Hunter.

Both Cheryl and Tracey had previously worked as ad agency honchos, one of their clients being Sandals Resorts. The idea for a glammed up multi purpose sandal that can go from beach to restaurant and club was hatched when the two were in the Caribbean for a client's photo shoot.

Their prototype was created on the spot, and the two women took this idea and refined the clasp for a perfect attachment to the sandal. To twist off, twist the ornament to the left, to flip on, twist it to the right.

Whether you adore blinged-out hearts, butterflies to simple rose and camellia like floral jewel-like adornments, these affordable fun fashion shoes (under $10 for the Brazilian flip-flops with crystal ornaments) made by American women are a great gift idea.
