Hollywood Trender: PJ's Organics Burritos, fast, frozen, fabulous

His company, PJ’s Organics. was created in 2007, and offers five delicious hand crafted burrito varieties. This company is also one of the few businesses that make their own tortillas without GMO\'s, pesticides, preservatives.
We love finding small American businesses that make great products that are organic and good for you.
This past week, a friend of Monsters and Critics website who is a caterer for studios (specifically TV series), tipped us to up-and-comer PJ's Organics, a frozen line of healthy frozen burritos that is quickly taking over California groceries and specialty shops.
The backstory
Peter “PJ” Sartorio is a NorCal (Northern California) kid. He wanted to make better-for-you convenience foods and noticed that there were no truly “clean” burrito options in the frozen food section of America’s supermarkets.
His company, PJ’s Organics. (http://www.pjsorganics.com/) was created in 2007, and offers five delicious hand-crafted burrito varieties. This company is also one of the few businesses that make their own tortillas without GMO's, pesticides, preservatives.
We tried all five varieties and were impressed with the noticeable lack of sodium, but true flavors of all the ingredients shining through. We adored PJ's Organics Skinny Burrito—a Tex-Mex alternative is stuffed with chicken, corn, brown rice, black beans, tomatoes, bell peppers and low-fat cheddar cheese. Other exceptional standouts were the Five Layer Chicken Burrito and the Breakfast Burrito. Yet they were all delicious.

Chicken Burrito: Made with 100% organic white meat chicken and featuring cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, black beans, rice, green peppers and spices.

Breakfast Burrito: Made with 100% organic turkey sausage, and featuring free-range eggs, potatoes, cheddar cheese, onions and spices.
Skinny Burrito: Made with 100% organic white meat chicken and featuring low fat cheddar cheese, black beans, brown rice, tomatoes, red and green peppers and spices.
