It’s surprising how much loyalty some Americans have to their favorite sandwiches, especially when special subs trump some of our favorite summertime activities - shopping and reading!
Monsters and Critics and Hellmann's offer a giveaway for fans of good eats!
Forget the sundress, I’ll take the sandwich! Sometimes even a seasonal bargain isn’t enough to entice American sandwich lovers to shop ‘til they drop. According to the Hellmann’s® Sandwich Survey* American sandwich lovers say they’d be more apt to survive a longer period of time without shopping (26 days) than they could go without enjoying their subs (20 days).

HELLMANN’S® STATE OF THE SANDWICH SURVEY:
When it comes to how – and why – America’s sandwich fans build their perfect sandwiches, the survey reveals:
· Favorite flicks have nothin’ on a ham and Swiss on rye. According to the Hellmann’s® Sandwich Survey* the average American sandwich lover says they’ve loved their favorite sandwiches longer than their favorite movie (10 years).
· Mom Knows Best. A recent Hellmann’s® Sandwich Survey* found that nearly three-quarters (71%) of moms with sandwich-loving kids say they serve their families the favorites they ate and enjoyed growing up.
· Forget the sundress, I’ll take the sandwich. American sandwich lovers say they’d be more apt to survive a longer period of time without shopping (26 days) than they could go without enjoying their subs (20 days).
*The “Hellmann’s® State of the Sandwich” survey was conducted by Kelton Research between March 21st and March 28th, 2011 using an email invitation and an online survey of 1,373 Americans ages 18 and older, with oversampling in specific geographic regions and women with children under 18 living in the household. Results of any sample are subject to sampling variation. The magnitude of the variation is measurable and is affected by the number of interviews and the level of the percentages expressing the results. In this particular study, the chances are 95 in 100 that a survey result does not vary, plus or minus, by more than 2.6 percentage points from the result that would be obtained if interviews had been conducted with All persons in the universe represented by the sample.
To enter, contestants need to provide a name and e-mail address. Upon notification of winning, contestants will have five days to reply with the name and address of where their prize should be sent.
Sorry, but this competition is open to residents of the USA only.
