Coachella is here! The music festival kicks off this Friday and we want to make sure you are prepared to be your best even in hot and sticky situations.

If you are a die-hard music festival attendee, please check out our inexpensive recommendations for a to-go beauty and health survival kit for Coachella.

There's nothing worse than getting to a huge outdoor music fest and not being prepared.  "Prepared" differs for each person, as women obviously have different concerns than guys, and first-timers who head to three-day music extravaganzas like Coachella and Bonnaroo need to get schooled fast on what to have.

Plan to bake in the sun, use an outdoor porta-potty (don't expect toilet paper) and eat overpriced, greasy fast food. You may become sick and get dehydrated.

Music festivals are full of high, drunk sweaty people careening into each other, who will make the event one to navigate wisely.  As with any mass crowd, proceed with caution, be cheerful and pack a useful bag you can bring in.

So along with a tucked away portable pack of Tylenol, a good charged-up phone, sunscreen, money and your ID - here are some great products necessary to survive several days of music and mayhem.

Every experienced concert-goer knows that there are a few key, yet inexpensive, products that should be packing.

Here are some of the top items on our list for a together beauty bag:

·         OLEHENRIKSEN’s Truth to go Wipes
http://www.olehenriksen.com/

Perfect of the backpack, this easy to access instant cleaning wipe can from face to provide and on-the-spot sponge bath clean up for when you have no running water.  This easy-to-use product cleanses and refreshes with a citrus vanilla scent. Strong enough to remove dirt, grime and makeup, but gentle enough to use anywhere in a pinch. Vitamin C Brightens, lightens and tightens. Micro Algae Firms skin and boosts collagen production. CoQ10 Boosts skin repair and regeneration, anti-oxidant and Green Tea inhibits collagen breakdown.

·         Orazyme Dry Mouth rinse

Dry mouth issues (we aren't judging)? Festivals will see lots of dry mouth and its uncomfortable effects (dry, sticky feeling, difficulty swallowing, cracked chapped lips) and the traveler size of Orazyme is perfect to put in your beauty bag. It's an all-natural, alcohol-free mouth rinse that is specially formulated to regulate saliva production for healthy, comfortable oral tissues.

·         The All Nighter
Styling Powder
Hair Powder / Dry Shampoo

This is amazing stuff. 100% Natural Paraben free, this all-natural, colorless hair powder is a small packaged to-go dry shampoo. The powder absorbs excess oil, extends your time between washes and creates awesome texture, volume and helps to style the hair.

traveler 2 oz.
www.goldfaden.com
Made in USA

Since 1967, Goldfaden’s fast absorbing, oil-free, fragrance-free SPF 30 spray protects your skin from both UVA and UVB rays for all-day protection.  This milky SPF 30 spray goes clear quickly, and protects your skin from both UVA and UVB rays for all-day protection. Contains an anti-oxidant, Red Tea extract. The sun block with red tea can block skin damage caused by the sun by treating free radicals while they are being created.

·         Binaca Peppermint Breath Drops
3.7 ml travelers
Made in USA
http://www.binaca.com/

Secret weapon for those close crowd encounters. These breath drops instantly freshen your breath and come in a teeny festival friendly convenient size for pocket or purse. Sugar, calorie and hassle free, dot the tongue and go!  Inexpensive!

·         Jurlique Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer
1.7 oz traveler
Made in USA
www.jurlique.com

Crowd and germs are like peanut butter and chocolate. They just go together. Jurlique's hand sanitizer leaves you with clean, soft, and silky smooth hands, and in the desert (Coachella) you won't feel uncomfortable.  No Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs or Triclosan.  It is simply a potent blend of herbs and flowers - Australian bush mint provides antibacterial and antimicrobial properties - as the formula has oleosome technology to deliver nourishing safflower oil to skin.

·         Dermalogica Clean Start Wash Off (1.7 oz)
(Part of Clean Start Acne Control Kit)
Made in USA - www.dermalogica.com

A foaming wash for face, back and chest that will save you for a three day jaunt to the desert. (You can use it as your whole body soap for the festival) It clears away dead skin cells, oils and build-up for a clean surface. Salicylic Acid clears trapped oils and breakout-causing bacteria and helping prevent future breakouts. Botanical extracts help regulate oil production. Orange peel oil scents the product, as it energizes and refreshes. No bad stuff and they don't test on animals.

·         Bakery on Main
www.bakeryonmain.com
Made in USA

This small gluten-free company has a cult following for good reason. Their Soft & Chewy Gluten Free Granola bars are a mini meal - without you having to stand in line for overpriced festival food. Whole grains and essential fatty acids, this product is delicious and packs well for a festival goer. Tasty flavors include Cinnamon Apple granola, and Chocolate Almond granola.
