PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED = TRANS FATMar 3rd, 2008 - 14:40:11

Even if the label says zero (0) grams of trans fat, if the ingredients list partially hydrogenated oils of any type, the food still has trans fats in your food.

We need to somehow convince our federal government to change their rules, and stop the food industry from lying to us.

The Fed. Government says that if they add less than a 1/2 gram per serving of trans fat, they can still list it as zero. What a crock.

Our government obviously does not give a crap about us, only the food industry. Stop the lobbying. Stop allowing the food industry to fill the pockets of the decision-makers in our government. This is ridiculous.

It's all about the lies, lies, lies. How about electing some honest people?
