One of the hottest new makeup bags seen on sets and makeup trailers in shoots this past year is the Lay-n-Go Cosmo bag.
A mother of three boys living in Alexandria, Virginia, Amy Fazackerley started her company by designing clever flat drawstring storage systems first for Legos and tiny Matchbox cars. This success got her wheels turning for storage solutions for busy traveling women who have to pack and go at the drop of a hat.

Lay-n-Go’s Cosmo bag is perfect for makeup artists who have to follow actors on set with a roundup of the items needed to re-apply most often during a shoot. The flat nylon mat makes cleanup and carrying a snap, with drawstring closure that locks and keeps it from dumping in a suitcase or other carryall.
No more dumping your skincare and makeup onto a towel or counter where they can roll off and break. This smart 4-in-1 solution for cosmetics offers a clean surface, with all the makeup easy to see, spread out flat and ready to use. The specially designed “lip” around the bag keeps items from rolling off the counter. When finished, pull the drawstring and the 18” flat surface is converted into a completely sealed off clutch. A bonus zippered pocket allows for discrete jewelry storage for those traveling. The drawstring converts the flat storage surface into a sealed soft clutch.

Details:
The Cosmo Bag is a neat quilted black shell that is 100% smooth poly, and easy to wash and hang dry. The Liner is 100% nylon and provided a water repellent/wipeable surface. One 7”x 5” zippered pocket on the inside surface to stow any special brushes or use as a hide-a-way for pills, feminine products or jewelry. Durable nylon cord and cord lock that provide a quick and easy opening/closing system. A special designed “lip” around the bag, which will keep your make-up from rolling off the counter or falling into the wet sink. A velcroed front storage pocket provides a place to stow the drawstring when closed and carrying or storing the bag with a nylon handle for carrying.
