The Hot Holiday Gift series is Monsters and Critics' 2011 picks for the best in Made in America gifts for everyone. From beauty, food, wine and spirits, DVDs to fashion, we have found the best in each category for you to consider gifting a loved one this holiday season.
We are coming into the season of the Beaujolais nouveau, as the fall heralds the wine harvest and the finest in tobacco blends for cigars.
American cigar company Camacho debuts their Liberty 2011 edition, which is selling out across the country.

The latest edition has swagger, style and heft, and was blended by Christian Eiroa in what is best described as a soulfully rich, complex taste - medium to full in body.
Christian Eiroa, 33, is the heir apparent to the Camacho cigar brand. His family grows Cuban-seed tobacco in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras, where Eiroa was born, and makes 14 million Camacho, Baccarat and other cigars in a factory in Danlí called Tabacos Rancho Jamastran.

Eiroa leads the family's sales and marketing efforts in Miami as president of Caribe Imported Cigars Inc.
As with all editions of the Liberty Series, this new blend is constructed in Camacho's proprietary 11/18 format (48x54x48x6) and selected from their best concept blends of the year.
This particular cigar is sophistication at its finest; a medium-to-full in body smoke, and the perfect combination of balance, strength, and aroma.
The Camacho Liberty 2011 uses filler tobaccos from (3) unique countries of origin provide for an intensely flavorful and complex experience.
What you get is a collectible master box with twenty limited edition cigars packed and individually numbered in their own cedar coffins.

Presented in glorious fashion, each cigar comes wrapped in tissue paper, then enclosed inside individual Spanish cedar coffin boxes. 20 coffins are then set inside a large, humidor-quality Spanish cedar chest that has been individually numbered. These single cigar cedar coffins are best stored whole inside a humidor, and will allow the Liberty’s to age properly without absorbing the characteristics of other cigars stored in the same unit.

The 2011 Liberty features a dark, oily Honduran Habano wrapper, a rich Honduran binder, and a blend of powerful, but well-aged Honduran and Dominican long-fillers. The result is a complex, full-bodied smoke that’s impressively smooth and refined.
Specs:
Wrapper: Honduran
Binder: Honduran
Filler: 3 Country Blend
Body: Full
Only 40,000 cigars were produced, total, yielding just 2,000 chests in all. With only 2000 boxes in production this year, the Camacho Liberty 2011 makes the perfect gift for the cigar lover.
