Absolut Wild Tea hosts Ansari, Duran Duran for Beautiful People party, recipes

Paper Magazine and Absolut threw a huge party in New York to celebrate the newest flavor called Wild Tea, and usher in the 14th Annual Beautiful People Issue hosted by cover boy Aziz Ansari, with an exclusive performance by British rock band Duran Duran.

Mixologists are well served by Absolut's latest flavor, Wild Tea, making the rounds at a ton of celebrity-filled parties.

The company was kind enough to send us a host of new recipes (below) that you can recreate, first served up to stars from NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and 80's mega band Duran Duran, still touring.

The Beautiful People Party is less about looks and more about passion and creativity, featuring the picks of the top fashion designers, foodies, actors and musicians all poised to break out big. 

Held at the New York space, Good Units, Duran Duran, Aziz Ansari, Adrienne Bailon, Erin Fetherston, Cobra Starship and more celebrated on the “wild” side with Absolut Wild Tea signature cocktails created for thr event and shared below.

Duran Duran performed songs from their new album “All You Need is Now,” as well as some old favorites for the fans.

ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

INGREDIENTS
1 part ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1/2 part Simple Syrup
1/2 part Lemon Juice
2 Blackberries
2 Mint Leaves

INSTRUCTIONS
Muddle mint with blackberries. Build remaining ingredients. Shake with ice and strain into sugar-rimmed shot glass.

BOSTON TEA PARTY

INGREDIENTS
1 part ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1/2 part Simple Syrup
1/2 part Orange Juice
Squeeze of Lemon
Samuel Adams Beer

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake first 4 ingredients over ice. Pour into pint glass. Top with Samuel Adams beer. Garnish with orange wheel.

CIDER HOUSE COCKTAIL

INGREDIENTS
1 3/4 part ABSOLUT Wild Tea
3/4 part Drambuie
3 parts Apple Cider
Pinch of Cinnamon
1 tsp Brown Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat ingredients together and stir. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

WILD COSMO

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 parts ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1 part Cranberry Juice
1/2 part Orange Liqueur
1/4 part Fresh Lime Juice

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake over ice and strain into a martini glass.

GINGER SNAP

INGREDIENTS
3/4 part ABSOLUT Wild Tea
3/4 part Hiram Walker Butterscotch Schnapps
1 part Ginger Ale

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake ABSOLUT Wild Tea and schnapps with ice. Strain into shot glass. Top with ginger ale.

WILD ICED TEA

INGREDIENTS
2 parts ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1 part Simple Syrup
4 parts Iced Tea

INSTRUCTIONS
Build over ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.

WILD TEA MIMOSA

INGREDIENTS
1 part ABSOLUT Wild Tea
3/4 part Blueberry-sage Simple Syrup
4 parts Demi-Sec Champagne

INSTRUCTIONS
Build ingredients in glass and lightly stir. Garnish with Lemon Twist.

PIRATES COVE TEA

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 parts ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1/2 part Sailor Jerry Rum
1 1/2 part Orange Juice
Squeeze of Lime
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
Splash of Coke

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake over ice. Pour into pint glass. Sprinkle with ground clove.

ROSE COLORED GLASSES

INGREDIENTS
2 parts ABSOLUT Wild Tea
1/4 oz Fee Brothers Rose Water
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
Sprinkle of Ground Cardamon

INSTRUCTIONS
Shake over ice. Pour into pint glass. Sprinkle with ground clove.
