Stuttgart - The third generation Porsche Boxter is scheduled for its European sales in April after celebrating its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March fitted with new engines and the choice of a host of new extras.
Based on the super sports car 918, the new model is priced at about 1,300 euros (1,709 dollars) more than the predecessor model at 48,291 euros (63,500 dollars). The S-Model costs some 10,000 euros (13,122 dollars) more.
Among the features are a new vinyl roof and super-light body.
