Jan 4, 2012, 3:07 GMT
Detroit - Lexus, the luxury subsidiary of the Toyota concern, plans to showcase a concept of a small sportscar with hybrid drive at the Detroit Motor Show, a further evolution of the Lexus design language.
The Lexus LF-LC is apparently aimed at testing the market for luxury compact sportscars. Pictures revealed by the carmaker reveal proportions similar to the Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ of a 2+2 seater.
A glass roof provides a spacious feeling with 21-inch alloys adding to the sports feel. Further details will be announced at the show, which runs January 9-22.
