BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe to debut at Geneva Show

Munich - The new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will celebrate its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year with the manufacturer recently releasing pictures of its first four-door coupe.
The Gran Coupe is characterized by a long bonnet, a sweeping roof line and a passenger compartment set towards the rear of the car. Based on the 6 Series Coupe, the wheelbase has been extended by 113 mm to 2,968 mm, making it 5,007 mm long.
A new 450 hp V8 engine heads the range which also includes six-cylinder petrol and diesel units. All the models are equipped with EfficientDynamics technologies, including Auto Start-Stop and extensive used of lightweight aluminium, reducing the chassis weight and lowering fuel consumption.
