New Golf VII scheduled for Paris Show next year

Paris - Volkswagen is planning to unveil the next Golf VII generation at the Paris Motor Show in October next year, according to a report in Germany's Autobild newspaper which also revealed sketches of the new model.
The pictures reveal tighter proportions with more chrome elements on the front grille interspersed with shiny black elements. From the rear the tail lights are narrower.
The Golf VII is expected to be available for European customers at the end of next year with a hybrid version in the pipeline for 2013. The GTI version is expected to come with a power unit of up to 220 hp, according to the report.
