Toyota gives preview of future models at Tokyo Show

Tokyo - Toyota is giving visitors to the Tokyo Motor Show next month a preview of some of its models planned in the next few years including a sedan powered by fuel cell technology.
Apart from the debut of the new Celica sports coupe, the manufacturer is also planning to display the FT-EV III - an electric iQ - planned for next year.
The Future Toyota Electric Vehicle III built on the basis of the iQ is a lightweight four-seater with the fully charged lithium-ion battery unit providing a range of at least 100 kilometres, according to reports.
For the medium term future in the year 2015, Toyota is planning a fuel-cell powered sedan called the Toyota FCV-R. Toyota lists the range of the vehicle at 700 kilometres.
A further outlook into the future is provided by the Fun-Vii (Fun-Vehicle interactive internet). Without revealing further details, the manufacturer indicated that the concept car would provide improved networking between car and driver.
Also on display are a new Prius Plug-In and the Toyota Aqua that will debut on the Japanese market fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an output of 74 hp and an electric motor with 61 hp.
