Skoda planning larger version of Yeti
Nov 2, 2011, 3:06 GMT
Prague - Czech carmaker Skoda is planning to bring out a larger version of the Yeti based on the platform of the Volkswagen Tiguan by 2016 to cut down costs, according to several reports.
The new model is expected to be inspired by the MissionL concept unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The larger SUV is apparently part of company plans to double sales by 2018 with a cheaper Citigo, based on the VW Up!, to serve the mass market and several other new models in the pipeline.
