Tokyo - The Japanese premium manufacturer Lexus is launching the special edition RX 450h and IS 250 models on the European markets in November, with the RX 450h featuring a panorama glass roof and special 19-inch aluminium alloys.
Selling at prices starting at 65,000 euros (89,804 dollars), the RX 450h 'Limited Edition' has xenon headlights as standard with various dark-grey applications spicing up the interior. A Head-up-Display is an optional extra, projecting information such as speed and GPS data onto the windscreen.
The combined V6 combustion engine and two electric motors provide an output of 220kW/299 hp with consumption listed at 6.3 litres per 100 kilometres, translating to a carbon dioxide emission figure of 145 grammes per kilometre.
The 'Limited Edition' IS 250, also based on the Executive Line, is fitted with special 18-inch alloys in a five-spoke design and xenon headlights with daylight running lights in LED technology. Priced at 38,970 euros (53,840 dollars), the sedan is powered by a 153 kW/208 hp engine linked to a six-gear transmission.
