Oct 19, 2011, 3:06 GMT
Los Angeles - After its debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, Chevrolet will lift the wraps at the Los Angeles Motor Show on a convertible version of the 2013 Camaro ZL1.
Like the closed top version the Camaro ZLI is fitted with a supercharged V8 LSA engine with an output of 580 hp. 'The Camaro ZL1 convertible will be one of the most powerful and most capable convertibles available at any price,' according to the Camaro chief engineer Al Oppenheiser.
According to some of the details released by the car maker, the convertible has an especially strengthened roof structure with a tower-to-tower brace under the hood. Other features include improved noise and vibration reductions.
The LA Motor Show takes place November 17-27.
