Wolfsburg, Germany - Volkswagen is celebrating the 30th birthday of the Caddy compact van next year by bringing out a special Caddy Edition 30 model that was unveiled at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Caddy Edition 30 will be available in four engine variations with the TDI diesel in the range between 75kW to 125 kW and the TSI petrol motor with an output of 77 kW.
Sporting a distinctly black roof with silver alloys, customers can also choose different colour combinations including white, silver, red, green or yellow. The interior is fitted with a multi-functional steering wheel, a handbrake handle in leather, semi-automatic air conditioning and privacy windows.
The first Caddy was introduced in 1982 as a pick-up built on the platform of the first VW Golf model. Since then some 1.5 million of the vans have been sold worldwide.
