Customers can design their own Porsche with new car configurator

Stuttgart - The sports car manufacturer Porsche has designed a new car configurator that gives prospective buyers the possibility of designing their own Porsche 911 on the internet from all sides, different angles and backgrounds.
The newly developed interactive 3D animation enables the customer 'to picture exactly what his new 911 will look like,' according to the car maker.
Numerous customised details such as a wood, aluminium or leather finish, different sports seats or rims can be depicted in a realistic way.
In addition to a 360-degree view around the new 911, users can take the wheel of the car for a virtual test drive and experience the driving dynamics at first hand. An iPad and iPhone app is also available.
