Spy shots reveal new Porsche 911
Aug 17, 2011, 4:06 GMT
Stuttgart - The new Porsche 911 celebrates its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with spy shots revealing an almost undisguised look of the new car including details such as a more compact rear with twin exhaust pipes on either side.
Running under the factory code name 991, the new Porsche has a 10 cm longer wheelbase, wider front and rear ends, and new character lines.
Most of the design changes have been made to the rear with the tail lights narrower and more angular. Slender LED daylight running lights are fitted to a lower front spoiler and larger air intakes.
Power for the Carrera S comes from a 3.8 litre engine with an output of 400 hp.
All in all Porsche remains true to the classic 911 design making only subtle changes to the 2012 model.
