Peugeot offers eco-version of 3008 and 5008

Paris - Peugeot is offering a fuel-saving start-stop system in both its 3008 and 5008 models apart from offering as standard equipment ABS (anti-locking brakes), ESP (electronic stability programme), six airbags and speed control.
Fuel consumption in the 3008 fitted with a 1.6-litre e-HDi engine with an output of 82 kW/112 hp is listed at 4.7 litres per 100 kilometres with a carbon dioxide emission figure of 122 grammes per kilometre - down seven grammes per kilometre.
Engine power is mated to an automatic six-gear transmission with front-wheel drive.
European prices start at 25,200 euros (36,090 dollars) for the Peugeot 3008 with the top of the range Business Line Peugeot 5008 selling at 29,371 euros.
