Chevrolet planning new Aveo generation

Frankfurt - Chevrolet is expected to launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September the new generation of the small Aveo that measures 4.04 metres and is expected to sell on European markets for around 12,000 euros (17,000 dollars).
Soon after the launch of the five-door car, Chevrolet is expected to follow with the sedan that is 36 cm longer with a boot volume of 502 litres compared to the 290 litres in the Aveo.
The Aveo will be available in three petrol-engined versions with an output ranging between 70 hp and 115 hp. Consumption is listed at between 5.1 and 6.6 litres per 100 kilometres with a carbon dioxide emission figure of between 119 and 156 grammes per kilometre. By the end of the year a diesel version will be in the showroom with the choice of either a 75 or 90 hp engine.
