Mercedes SLK wins German design award

Hamburg - The Mercedes SLK convertible was chosen by readers of Germany's mass publication Bild newspaper as the most beautiful new car on the road, choosen from 116 vehicles in five categories.
It was the third year in a row that a Mercedes won the award. Last year the readers chose the Mercedes SLS and in the year 2009 the new E-Class.
The second place was taken by the new 6-Series BMW while the third position went to the Citroen DS4.
The Opel Astra Sports Tourer and the Range Rover Evoque won the design awards in their respective categories.
