Stuttgart, Germany - German carmaker Daimler reported Monday a 10.6-per-cent increase in sales in June as strong demand from Asia and the US helped to boost demand for the group's vehicles.
The Stuttgart-based Daimler said it sold 122,900 of its premium Mercedes-Benz, urban Smart and super-luxury Maybach with group sales rising for the ninth month in a row.
In particular, demand in Asia and the US resulted in sales of Mercedes-Benz cars rising by 13 per cent.
