Stuttgart - Mercedes is adding two more economical four- cylinders to the new E-Class, completing the engine line-up in the model range.
The E 200 CD Blueefficiency has an output of 100 kW/136 hp with the manufacturer listing fuel consumption at 5.2 litres per 100 kilometres. Emissions are listed at between 137 and 145 grammes of carbon dioxide per kilometre.
The petrol-engined E 200 CGI Blueefficiency has an output of 135 kW/184 hp and a consumption of 7.2 litres per 100 kilometres. The CO2 emission is at 169 grammes per kilometre.
A start/stop function is fitted as standard in conjunction with the six-speed manual transmission.
Other features include driver assistance systems, such as drowsiness detection, Adaptive Highbeam Assist and automatic emergency braking.
